A Busy Day in Boston

Today we took a train ride into Boston and explored the lovely city!

We started off with a walking tour of the historic sites led by a park ranger (the woman in the hat :)

We saw Paul Revere's house and Emilie got a jump start on 5th grade history!

After the tour we were starving and ate at a local pizza place called Regina's. Several Bostonians said it was the best pizza in Boston.

We definitely agreed with them!

We left a teeny tiny bit of room for some authentic Boston cream pie at Mike's.

...needless to say we loved it as well :)

Emilie is eating a lobster tail, which is another type of pastry famous in the New England Region.

Then we watched some locals breakdancing!

To end the day we took a Duck Tour around the city. This tour is a bus and also is somehow able to double as a boat! We toured the city and the Hudson River!

Of course, being a Duck Boat and all, we had to have quackers!

Emilie drove the bus/boat in the river!

She might have a future as a captain one day!

Finally, we visited the ducks at the park!  Look familiar?

....and we quacked all the way back to Salem, MA to our hotel!  What a busy day!
