Connecticut and Rhode Island

After NY we stayed in New London, CT at a La Quinta Inn. That morning we were happy to say "adios" and headed towards Mystic, CT.

We stopped by the old seaport but really enjoyed the charming little town of Mystic.

Our next stop was Jamestown, Rhode Island, "a sleepy little seaport town" according to Kim McFall. It's her hometown and we had the pleasure of a personal tour by her father, Joe.

Joe took us all over the island and pointed out all of the things only the true locals know.

The mansion in the back used be the Kennedy's summer home!

The rocky seashore was breathtaking!
